Ability Overview

Mud creates a splash of muddy terrain that slows down movement for the opponent who passes through it. The mud zone persists on the field, creating an area of reduced mobility that you can exploit for positional advantage. At 50 mana, each mud splash is an investment, but a well-placed mud zone near your goal forces opponents into slow approaches that are easy to defend.

• 1.Place mud zones in the path between your opponent and the ball to slow their approach.
• 2.Create mud near your goal to give yourself a movement advantage when defending.
• 3.You are unaffected by your own mud — use this to create zones where only you can move freely.
• 4.Layer mud in the center of the field to control the tempo and force the opponent into your pace.
